As a take-off of "The Breakfast Club," five Degrassi students are forced to spend a Saturday detention together:
Jimmy (the athlete), Hazel (the princess), Toby (the brain), Sean (the criminal), and Ellie (the basket-case). In addition
to many fun mishaps, the day results in Ellie and Sean becoming a couple and Jimmy and Hazel doing the same.
