Season 2

Emma is totally against the fact that the school cafeteria is serving genetically modified foods. So she starts informing people about it and trying to get them on her side. Mr. Raditch gets angry with her and suspends her for a day since she did this on school grounds. Emma feels that she should be allowed to speak her mind. So she starts a protest saying that she's been silenced by administration. When Mr. Raditch finds out about this, he threatens to suspend Emma for a week if she doesn't apologize in the school announcements. Emma refuses to apologize and takes the suspension.

Spinner is getting jealous that Jimmy gets so many expensive things from his rich parents. To make matters worse, Spinner can't really afford anything lately. He gets so desperate for something new, that he steals Jimmy's new MP3 player and tells a friend that he'll sell it to him. Spinner planned to use the money he made to buy a shirt. However, Jimmy finds out that Spinner was going to sell the MP3 player and gets furious with him. Spinner figures that if he gives Jimmy the MP3 player back, and an apology, he'll forgive him. But Jimmy didn't forgive Spinner. He claimed that they weren't friends anymore.

Notice that the song playing in the background of the food fight, is the same song that played at Dean's party in "Shout", the same song that played while Emma is getting Manny ready for her date with Craig in "Take my Breath Away", the same song that played while Ashley and Terri were picking out their clothes for picture day in "Karma Chameleon", and the second song that played at Jimmy's party in "Message in a Bottle".
